masking the tear in your eye
as passionate kiss
salty and wild
tore away cloaks of sorrow
drops ran idly
down your face
slowly
as lightning scorched night sky
and revealed slanted raindrop
that beat the pattern of your heart
in grooves
on the ground
you drank deeply of another
and came away
intoxicated
crying harder
at having fallen in love
the rain to blame
for its passion
imbued in spirit
softly
while you kissed
